A Book Tree at the Williamsburg Public Library holds books that are on the library's wish list. Those who would like to purchase a book to donate to the library are urged to contact library or stop in.

For many years, the Williamsburg Public Library has been doing just that - all the way back to the 1950s. Some of our generations can remember the library being housed in the old borough building, followed by the location on Second Street. Head Librarian Roane Lytle remembers the "bucket brigade with the books."
