'Workable' Budget Advertised For Catharine Twp.

Vice Chairman Ken Brenneman called the 2024 budget, “workable” before making the motion to advertise the budget during last Thursday’s Catharine Township meeting. The budget ,which was approved for advertisement, includes a millage increase from .941 to 1.41, with the supervisors citing inflation as the main cause for the increase.

The supervisors agreed to apply for a grant, which covers 100-percent of the cost of a new truck. The new truck is estimated to cost $120,340, and a resolution was signed to apply for grant funding.
