The Central Scarlet Dragon Football team faced the Hickory Hornets, the champion from District 10, and sadly came up short of a victory, suffering a 26-13 loss to end their season.
The first half came with multiple interceptions by the Hickory defense, rendering the Dragon offense useless as their scoreboard was left at zero after the first half. On the other hand, one field goal in the first quarter and a touchdown in the second left the Hornets with a 10-point advantage.
