The vacant room on the second floor of the borough building has been papered carefully and furnished, and otherwise rendered pleasant. The room will be occupied by the fire department. ‘

Beautiful ice, eight inches in thickness, has been harvested by our ice men during the week. Tuesday night was the coldest of the season. The temperature was but a few degrees above zero.
