RESCHEDULED: 'Biblical Meaning of Christmas' Coming Up in Claysburg

Claysburg Ministerium is presenting "The Biblical Meaning of Christmas" on Sunday, Dec. 17, from 4 to 6 p.m. It was rescheduled due to expected inclement weather.

It is a drive-by with five different Claysburg church groups presenting it.

The five churches are doing the five parts in one location, but they are spread out on the parking lot at Christ Lutheran Church. We are asking people to enter the lot at the entrance closest to Dunnings Highway and then stop at each station as they go around the Lutheran Church lot clockwise.

For ease of driving, these five groups will be at Christ Lutheran Church parking lot:

• Upper Claar Church of Brethren – Introduction of Biblical Meaning of Christmas

• United Church of Christ – Angel Gabriel Visits Mary

• Claysburg Church of the Brethren – Birth of Jesus Christ

• Claysburg United Methodist Church – Angels Visit the Shepherds

• Christ Lutheran Church – Angels Visit the Wisemen

This beautiful ornament (shown above) was designed and made by Drew and Kasey Mosser; 200 of them will be passed out on a first-come basis that evening.
