Hollidaysburg Chooses Ninth Police Officer

The Hollidaysburg Borough Council December monthly meeting was highlighted by the resignation of the borough manager, the hiring of a new police officer, and the final adoption of the 2024 budget. The borough council accepted the resignation of Borough Manager Jim Gehret, who had served as both manager and finance director for Hollidaysburg. He had been employed by the borough for almost 14 years. Councilman Walter Kalista highlighted the accomplishments of Gehret's tenure in office.
