Woodbury Boro Swears in Two Members

Woodbury Borough councilmembers met on Jan. 2 at 7 p.m.

The minutes of the previous meeting and the treasurer’s report were approved as read.

The mayor was absent and there was no report. There was no Woodbury Community Center report.

The Bedford County Association of Municipalities (BCAM) will meet on Jan. 31 behind the American Legion at 7 p.m.

In new business, the council held its annual required reorganization meeting. All positions remained the same as last year, with the borough engineer retained.

The Beford County Tax Collection Committee will be meeting. More information is needed as to the time and place.

The total balance in general and state aid funds was $185,971.

The next meeting will be held at 7 p.m., Feb. 5.
