Exactly one week after forming a Citizens’ Advisory Committee, the Claysburg-Kimmel School Board called a special meeting to address changes regarding the new committee. On Jan. 15, the school board unanimously approved the formation of a committee that will “find the cause of declining grades and test scores and to get remediation and changes in place.”

Claysburg PAST (Preserving artifacts, stories and traditions) had a new concept in its history tours on Saturday, April 26. The three-hour bus tour would cover the Queen, Klahr, Bullscreek and Friesville areas....
