Rentals to be Paid in Advance

Because of the failure by patrons to pay prompt telephone rentals, the Morrison Cove Telephone Co. management requested that all rentals be paid monthly in advance. After 20 days a five percent penalty would be added to cover the serious expenses and losses because of non-payment.

The Blair County Sunday School Association set aside a week to be observed as Sunday School Week. A house-to-house canvass was to be made by pastors and superintendent with a goal of increasing membership by 25 percent.
