Nason Expanding

Nason Hospital announced plans to expand its outpatient and radiology departments by building an addition across the back for the hospital that would measure 37 feet wide and 156 feet long. Work was planned to begin soon and would be completed by December. Considerable excavation was required. The cost of the expansion was estimated at $1,173,000 by Frank Dachille, the hospital’s architect.

The Freedom Township Volunteer Fire Company recently put into service a refurbished rescue truck, which was purchased from the Ebensburg Volunteer Fire Company.
