Linda Ilene Chesney

Linda Ilene Chesney, 75, of rural Martinsburg, passed away unexpectedly Monday afternoon, Feb. 19, 2024, at her home.

She was born July 24, 1948, in Roaring Spring, daughter of Leanore I. (Harr) Claar and the late, Robert E. Claar. On July 15, 1967, she married Charles A. “Chuck” Chesney Jr. at the Smith Corner Mennonite Church.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Chuck of 56 years; her mother of East Freedom; a son, Richard T. Chesney (Chris) of Bakers Summit; two daughters: Jeanine A. Strittmatter (Frank) of Williamsburg and Charlotte A. Hill of Martinsburg; 15 grandchildren: Andrea Hill...
