Luther Meade Jr.

Luther Meade Jr., 88, resident of The Village at Morrisons Cove, Martinsburg, formerly of Wyoming County, WV, passed away Sunday morning, March 24, 2024, at The Village.

He was born July 24, 1935, in Lackey, KY, son of the late Luther Sr. and Ella (Cline) Meade. On March 15, 1960, he married Gladys Mae Harrison, and she preceded him in death May 6, 1979.

He is survived by two daughters: Pamela J. Roub of Imler and Melissa E. Acker (Robert) of East Freedom; two sons: Jeffrey N. Meade (Julia) of Leoma, Tenn. and Timothy C. Meade of Roaring Spring; seven grandchildren: David Meade, Joseph Meade,...
