Chester Riley, 90, passed away Monday, March 25, 2024, in Sebring, Fla.

He was born March 13, 1934, in Blair County, to William and Helen (Colbert) Riley.

He is survived by his loving wife of more than 69 years, Freda S .; sons: Steven Dean (Hannah) Lacey, Wash., Patrick Owen (Sheila) Sebring, and David Paul of Marshall, Texas; daughter Sheila Dawn (Sakraida); brother Max C. Riley Pennsylvania and sisters Lois Phillips St. Augustine, Fla., and Doris Brubaker of Roaring Spring. Also surviving are four grandchildren and five great-children.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son Timothy Dean Riley, son-in-law Joe Sakraida and six siblings.

He proudly served his country in the United States Army and the Marine Corps Reserves.

He worked as a laboratory technician in the paper industry and attended Grace Brethren Church in Martinsburg. He moved to Sebring, Fla. in 2014 from Roaring Spring.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, skeet shooting, and he loved spending time with his family very much.

A memorial service will be held April 27, 2024, at 11 a.m. in Sebring, Fla. at Assembly Church 4301 Kenilworth Blvd 33870.
