To the Editor:

National Library Week 2024 will be celebrated Sunday, April 7, through Saturday, April 13. This is a time to celebrate our nation’s libraries, librarians, library workers and to promote library use and support.

This year’s theme is “Ready, Set, Library!”

Libraries offer all kinds of activities besides offering books to borrow and reference material. Libraries have computers, photocopiers and fax machines. There are many fun and educational programs scheduled for children and adults including story times, book discussions and arts and crafts.
