Lady Dragon Softball Finds One

In a three-game week, the Lady Dragons faced the Glendale Lady Vikings, the Hollidaysburg Lady Golden Tigers and the Penn Cambria Lady Panthers. The Dragons had two losses and a victory, 3-2, 5-3, and 13-3 respectively.

Against the Vikings, a low-scoring game befell the Dragons. After their opponents started the match with a run in the second inning, the Dragons responded with a run of their own in the fourth. The Vikings scored two more in the same inning to take the lead. The Dragons were able to score another in the fifth, but a scoreless sixth and seventh inning spelt the Dragons’ demise....
