Melanie Clapper, club secretary presented the minutes.

Kristen Dickens, assistant treasurer, gave the treasurers report. Both reports were approved as read.

The date of the club’s tractor ride was changed to June 15.

The ride will start at Darin Helsel’s place. The ride will be 15 miles long and lunch will be at OIP Woodbury.

There will be a porta potty set up along the way. Those who would like to participate and do not have a tractor, can ride along on the hay wagon.

Any food vendor who sets up at a tractor pull will provide 25% of profits to the club.

There were 191 pulls at the last tractor pull with no problems. The next tractor pull is on May 18. Weigh in is at 3 p.m. and pull will start at 4 p.m.

The club’s annual banquet will also take place on May 18.

Money and reservations due to Melanie Clapper now.

The banquet is at 12 noon and the Royal Rangers will be cooking chicken dinners. Dessert and drinks will be provided with the meal.

Tractor tickets and gun raffle tickets are being sold now by club members. Numbers will be pulled at the fall show.

Crowsnest was present at the meeting and presented plans and costs to get Wi-Fi on the club’s grounds.

The club voted on a plan and Crowsnest is expected to have the Wi-Fi installed on the week of May 18.

This will give access to vendors using credit card machines for sales and be another way to provide safety communications.

A landline will stay in place with the same club phone number.

Club members addressed getting spouting on the museum building. This was delayed until the next meeting.

The club will investigate getting a grant for an AED for the grounds.

Those looking for a place to host an event may rent the grounds by called Judith Ott at 814-932-6166.
