South Woodbury Twp. Building Landscaping Gets Facelift

On Thursday, May 2, Bethany Kensinger, horticultural and agriculture teacher and FFA advisor took students from the Northern Bedford Vo Tech to do some grounds work for South Woodbury Township.

The students were busy weeding and putting new mulch around the shrubbery in front of the memorial statue.

Some of the students, according to Kensinger, will obtain jobs in this area.

Other students take this class for fun to be educated in horticulture.

Some will go on to college and incorporate this experience in their careers.

Students who helped included Travis Hutton, Emily Koontz, Samantha Corle, Emma Byler, Kara Dietz, Aalijah Pepple, Dangelo Wojcik and Madison Lemin.

A plant sale will be held from May 13 through 17 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., and 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the elementary school gym lobby back entrance of Northern Bedford. This event will be open to the public.
