Park Hopes for Support

The board of directors at Morrisons Cove Memorial Park is disappointed with the amount of donations received from the public in order to help keep the facility’s doors open. The board is hoping that the “Save the Park Spaghetti Dinner” on Sunday, June 8, will be a big success. The pool will be open from 1 to 7 p.m. Sunday as well. All proceeds from the day’s events will go toward the park.

The Greenfield Township Municipal Authority reviewed detailed plans for a water tank to be placed in Walter Business Park, during its May 27 meeting. The project will help the authority increase its water storage capacity. It is being funded by an Army Corp of Engineers grant.

The journey continues for the Central Dragon baseball team. Central pushed its record to 22-0 this season following two victories during the past week.

NBC High School students had the opportunity to drive farm tractors to school.
