This summer my wife decided she wanted to plant some vegetables. This was a red flag for me simply because I lacked experience and we do not have the ideal setting or soil to become green giants. I recall helping my parents and grandmother with large gardens about 50 years ago. As an adult, I have always enjoyed maintaining a flowerbed and several potted flowers.
