William Foor, aged 35 years, a son of David Foor, residing about one mile east of Everett, was instantly killed Saturday. On returning from a hunting trip he used the butt of his gun to push open the gate when the weapon was discharged, the entire load striking him in the neck. He was survived by his wife and one child.
The Blair County commissioners have awarded the contract for the stone work for the bridge over the big spring at Williamsburg to John A. Dunkle of Tyrone, at $4 per perch.
