“We knew it was going to be an expensive project,” Superintendent Lisa Murgas said, displaying the updates and projects to fix the roofing problems at the Williamsburg Elementary School and High School during last Tuesday evening’s board meeting.
“This is a project that needed to be done,” Board Member Jimmy Grager said, noting the leaking problems, especially in areas such as the elementary school and boys’ locker rooms.
The elementary school was looking at mostly lower-level updates and the high school was looking at replacing a majority of the roof for the whole building.
