Warren C. Detwiler Sr.

Warren C. Detwiler, Sr., 80, of Roaring Spring, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday evening, Jan. 21, 2019, at Hillview Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.

Friends will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 25, at the Todd T. Thompson Funeral Home Inc.,, Roaring Spring.

A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 26, at Target One Ministries, Martinsburg, by Pastor Philip Waite.

Interment will be made in Spring Hope Cemetery, Martinsburg.

Warren was born on Feb. 5, 1938, in Tyrone Township, the son of the late Ralph and Harriet (Drake) Detwiler.

He married Polly Ann Neff on June 12, 1960.

Warren is survived by his wife; four children: Warren Detwiler Jr. "Randy" of Roaring Spring, Terri Roy and husband Lee of Roaring Spring, Daniel Detwiler and wife Deb of Roaring Spring and Tammy Morral and husband Byron of New Enterprise; 17 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and four siblings: Mary Ann, Robert, Ronald and Raymond.

He was preceded in death by two great-grandchildren; and six siblings: Stan, Tillie, Jim, Betty, Shirley and Carlton.

Warren was a 1957 graduate of Tyrone High School.

He retired from Hedstrom Corp., Bedford, and had then been employed as a bus driver for Carbaugh Busing.

Warren attended Target One Ministries, Martinsburg.

Warren enjoyed gardening, growing raspberries, serving turkey dinners for the Southern Cove Volunteer Fire Department at the Replogle Building and working in his woodshop.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Warren's memory may be given to Target One Ministries, 3898 Cove Mountain Road, Martinsburg, PA 16662.
