NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Supervisors of the Township of North Woodbury will conduct a public hearing on Thursday, April 7, 2022 at 6:00 o’clock P.M. (EDT) at the North Woodbury Township Municipal Building, 113 Cranberry Road, Martinsburg, Pennsylvania, to take public comment relative to the Board’s consideration of passage of an ordinance (which will NOT occur at the public hearing) vacating of the following:

ALL OF SALEBARN ROAD (T-327), CONSISTING OF APPROXIMATELY 2,247 FEET, STARTING 393 FEET EAST OF THE POINT WHERE SALEBARN ROAD INTERSECTS WITH AUCTION ROAD (STATE ROUTE 2005) AND RUNNING TO THE CURRENT TERMINATION POINT OF SALEBARN ROAD.

A copy of the map depicting the location of the road proposed to be vacated, may be examined at the North Woodbury Township Municipal Building, 113 Cranberry Road, Martinsburg, Pennsylvania, on Monday through Thursday from the hours of 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. (EDT).

Sealed proposals

Sealed proposals will be received by the North Woodbury Township, of Blair County, at 113 Cranberry Road, Martinsburg, PA 16662, until 12:00 p.m., on April 14, 2022, for the following:

Item 1, 23,603 S.Y., Single Sealcoat with RS-2PM (E-2M)/CRS-2PM (E-3M)

Item 2, 1 LS, Street sweeping of sealcoated roadways

Liquidated damages apply at the rate of $885.00 per calendar day.

Proposals must be upon the forms furnished by the Municipality.

For third class cities the bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the bid, made payable to the municipality. For other municipal types it is the discretion of the municipality. A performance bond or certified check in the amount of 100% of the contract shall be furnished by the successful bidder within 20 days after the contract is awarded.

The Municipality reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.

Consumer Confidence Report for year 2021

The Martinsburg Municipal Authority is required to provide an Annual Water Report listing the water testing results performed during the previous year and also list the testing from previous years that are still valid due to test frequency cycles. We are now providing the entire report on the internet. You can view the entire report by typing:

STORAGE SALE

DUE TO NONPAYMENT OF RENT, the goods of Maryam Alduwaisan (Unit #8) and Norman Robison (Unit #19) stored at Best Rate Rentals, 657 Johnstown Road, East Freedom, PA 16637 will be sold by public auction to satisfy the owner’s lien. The auction will take place at said facility on March 29, 2022 at 10:00 AM.

THAT PART OF CREPS ROAD (T-328), CONSISTING OF APPROXIMATELY .35 MILES, WHICH IS ALL OF CREPS ROAD WEST OF WHERE IT INTERSECTS WITH MILLERSTOWN ROAD (T-320) AND RUNNING TO THE CURRENT TERMINATION POINT OF CREPS ROAD.

A copy of the map depicting the location of the road proposed to be vacated, may be examined at the North Woodbury Township Municipal Building, 113 Cranberry Road, Martinsburg, Pennsylvania, on Monday through Thursday from the hours of 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. (EDT).
