Woodbury Community Yard Sale

The Woodbury Community Yard Sale will be held the weekend of June 2-June 3, 2023. Community clean-up week will be May 29-June 1, 2023.

The Borough encourages residents to keep their yards mowed and their property cleaned for this annual event as well as throughout the entire year in order to create a favorable impression on Woodbury Borough. We thank you for your efforts.

USED MOTOR GRADER TO BE PURCHASED

Sealed proposals for the purchase of a used Motor Grader will be received by the Taylor Township Supervisors before their meeting on June 5, 2023. Bids will be received at the Taylor Township office until 3 PM on June 5, 2023. Bids will be opened and read aloud at the Township’s meeting. The grader to be purchased must be a “2009” model year or newer, 14 foot moldboard, and with less than 5900 hours use.Complete specifications may be obtained at the Township Office or by calling 814-224-2738. Proposals must be valid for a period of 15 days and be submitted on forms furnished with the specifications. Supervisors reserve the right to accept or reject any bid and to make the award to the lowest responsible bidder deemed to be in the best interest of the Township. Consideration will be given to the overall grader condition and future service costs expected.

FULL-TIME HELP WANTED

The Roaring Spring Borough is accepting applications for the position of full-time labor with benefits. Application will be accepted until 4:00 p.m. on June 12, 2023.

Requirements:

Applicants must have general knowledge of maintenance involving general maintenance of Borough Properties and i.e., trimming, mowing, weeding and may include working on Saturdays. Water and wastewater systems and equipment operating skills are preferred but not necessary. Obtaining a water and wastewater certification will be a requirement after being hired and Applicants will be required to have a valid PA Driver’s License.

Invitation to Bid

Sealed Bids will be received by the Greenfield Township Board of Supervisors at the Greenfield Township Municipal Building located at 477 Ski Gap Road, Claysburg, PA 16625 until 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 6, 2023, for the purchase and upfit of a heavy duty mid mounted rotary mower to be installed on a 2023/2024 Massey Ferguson 5711D 4-wheel drive Tractor. Specifications on the mower and upfit can be obtained at the Township building or they can be emailed by request from the Township Secretary. Proposals shall be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked “Proposal for Mid Mount Mower and Upfit”. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 2:00 p.m. on June 6, 2023. If a purchase is awarded, it will be at the regularly scheduled meeting on June 6th at 6:30 p.m. This solicitation in no way obligates the Greenfield Township Board of Supervisors to award a contract. The regular monthly meeting for the North Woodbury Township Board of Supervisors has been rescheduled from Thursday, June 1, 2023, at 6 p.m. to 10 a.m. at the Township office, located at 113 Cranberry Road, Martinsburg, PA 16662.
