On Aug. 21, folks came together from the churches of Claysburg Ministerium and prepared a meal to honor the people who will be working with the children in the Claysburg-Kimmel School District. This meal, held in the Church of God recreation hall, has been done for the last 12 years. It is always done on the last in-service day for the group before school starts.

Each person was greeted by Pastor Calvin Miller and welcomed to the luncheon. Miller is currently the head of the Ministerium and preaches each Sunday at three churches Weyandt at 8:45, Queen at 10, and Claysburg at 11:15 a.m.
