Nutrien Ag Solutions of Tyrone, PA is giving notice of intent to make ground applications on agricultural crops during the next 30 days in Armstrong, Allegheny, Bedford, Blair, Butler, Beaver, Cambria, Centre, Clarion, Clearfield, Fayette, Huntingdon, Indiana, Jefferson, Mifflin, Somerset, Washington, and Westmoreland Counties.

Sealed proposals will be received by the Huston Township, of Blair County, at 1230 Piney Creek Road, Martinsburg, PA 16662, until 6 p.m., on Nov. 2, 2023, for the following:
Bid Item 1, 6-wheel dump w/10’ plow, asher & operator 160 hours estimated hours of use and or
Bid Item 2, 10-wheel dump w/10’ commercial plow, asher and operator, 160 estimated hours of use.
Above items of equipment to be complete with operator, fuel, insurance and hauling cost to and within the township.
Item “D” hours are estimates only. Township makes no guarantee any or all hours for any items will be utilized during the contract period.
NOTE: The Township will not be responsible for and will not pay for any “downtime” as per attachment “A” specs which are part of this bid.
Also MUST be within 10 miles of Township.
Liquidated damages apply.
Proposals must be upon the forms furnished by the Municipality.
The bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the bid, made payable to the municipality.
The Municipality reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.
