Sealed proposals will be received by the Williamsburg Boro, of Blair County, at 305 East Second Street, Williamsburg, PA 16693, until 3 p.m. on June 3, 2024, for the following:

Item 1, 8,702 S.Y., Single Sealcoat with RS-2PM (E-2M).CRS-2PM (E-3M)

Item 2, 4,163 S.Y., Double Sealcoat with RS-2PM (E-2M)/CRS-2PM (E-3M)

Liquidated damages apply at the rate of $975.00 per calendar day.

Proposals must be upon the forms furnished by the Municipality.

For third class cities the bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the bid, made payable to the municipality. For other municipal types it is the discretion of the municipality.

A performance bond or certified check in the amount of 100% of the contract shall be furnished by the successful bidder within 20 days after the contract is awarded.

Advertisement for Bids

Freedom Township Water & Sewer Authority will receive sealed bids for the construction of the Everett Road Bridge Utility Relocation & Adjustments Project. Bids will be received until 10:00 a.m. on May 6, 2024 at the Stiffler, McGraw & Associates, Inc. Office located at 1731 N. Juniata Street, Hollidaysburg, PA 16648, at which time all bids will be opened. Bidders are welcome to attend the bid opening. Faxed bids will not be accepted.

The Project includes the following Work:

Installation of approximately 36 lineal feet of 16” steel casing via open cut and reinstalling existing sanitary sewer line in casing, three manhole grade adjustments, reconnection to existing manholes and line, sewer lateral relocation and all necessary appurtenances. Work is to be coordinated with the Blair County Bridge 69 Project.

Pennsylvania Prevailing wage rates will apply to this contract if bid proposal exceeds $25,000. The contract documents contain requirements addressing prevailing labor wage rates, labor standards, nondiscrimination in hiring practices and related matters.

Bidders for this contract shall have completed projects similar in character and scope and will be required to provide with their Bid a Qualifications Statement for prime contractor and all subcontractors.

The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding.
