Blind Man Sells Songs

George Clapper, a blind man from Williamsburg, was accompanied by his nephew on a trip to Henrietta, where he was singing and selling songs. Almost everybody bought a song to help the poor man.

Prof. Eli Glass was teaching a vocal music class at the Mount Pleasant Church.

John T. Koontz drilled a well for Daniel Stayer near Woodbury, securing water at 82 feet.

A new reed organ was purchased for the use of the New Enterprise school and literary society.
