Judy M. Reffner

Judy M. Reffner, age 77, of Martinsburg, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday morning, Aug. 3, 2022, at Conemaugh Nason Medical Center, Roaring Spring Emergency Department after an apparent heart attack.

She was born Feb. 25, 1945, in McKee, daughter of the late George and Helen (Weaver) Dibert.

She married Donald J. Reffner on May 7, 1966.

She is survived by her husband; a sister, Peg Rightnour and husband, Larry, of McKee; and a brother, William Dibert, of Claysburg.

She was preceded in death by an infant son, Donald Dwayne Reffner; two sisters, Mona Claycomb and Maryann Dibert; and three brothers: Gene Wyerman, Barry Dibert and J. Robert “Bob” Dibert.

She had attended McKee United Methodist Church as a child.

Judy had worked at Leighty’s Farm Market, Newry from 1970-92 and then at Giant Eagle, Roaring Spring from 1992 until her retirement in 2010.

She and her husband enjoyed going to flea markets, cruise-ins, and car shows with their 1958 Ford Fairlane and 1950 Ford Pickup, flowers, mowing the grass, and she especially loved their dog, Toby.

A funeral service was held Thursday, Aug. 11, 2022, at Todd T. Thompson Funeral Home Inc., Roaring Spring (www.thompsonfh.com). Interment was made in Fairview Cemetery.
