Marc Daniel "Dan" Isenberg

Marc Daniel “Dan” Isenberg, 65, of Williamsburg, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Wednesday evening, April 19, 2023, at UPMC Altoona, surrounded by his wife, children and spouses, and his siblings.

He was born Oct. 15, 1957, in Altoona, son of the late, John A. and Catherine B. (Butcher) Isenberg.  On Aug. 4, 1979, he married Sharon Ann Fuoss in Altoona.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Sharon of 43 years; a daughter, Kimberly Ann “Kimmie” McGregor (Jimmy); three sons: Joshua D. Isenberg (Myranda), Jonathan D. Isenberg (Elizabeth) and Justin M. Isenberg (Dawn) all of Williamsburg; 13 grandchildren: Dakota, Clayton and Shaya McGregor, Adilyn and Avril Isenberg, Alana, Bo and Seth Isenberg, Briana Dowey (Dylan), Chandler Edwards, Jack Sheesley and Preston and Rowan Isenberg; three great-grandchildren: Waylon, Weston and Wrenley Dowey; three sisters: Marcia Mock (Glen “Butch” Barnett), Marlene “Peanut” Fitzgerald (Glenn) and Margo Fleming (Brian); a brother, Dave Isenberg (Vicki); and a brother-in-law, Donnie Kile.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Marcella Kile.

Dan was a 1975 graduate of Williamsburg High School. He was a proud member of the Blue Pirate Marching Band and one of his fondest memories was their trip to Ireland in 1974. 

While in high school Dan worked at the A&P in Williamsburg, and not long after graduating earned the manager position at the store. Over the years, Dan also worked and managed various businesses including: Riverside in Williamsburg and Cresson, The County Market in LaVale, MD, Phar-Mor in Greensburg and Altoona, the Target stores in State College and Altoona; Hoss’s Steak & Sea House in Lewistown, Huntingdon and Bedford, and was currently employed as a transport driver at the Cove Forge Behavioral Health Center in Williamsburg.

Dan faithfully attended Journey Church in Hollidaysburg, where he cherished being the greeter each Sunday. He was also a longtime member of Grace Pointe Community Church, the former Williamsburg Church of God.

He loved spending time with his family, attending his children and grandchildren’s games and also supporting his beloved Blue Pirates.

A celebration of life service was held Saturday, April 22, 2023, at Grace Pointe Community Church. Pastor Jeremiah Baker officiated.  Interment was held at Royer Cemetery, rural Williamsburg. 

Memorial contributions in memory of Dan may be given to Journey Church, 511 Union St., Hollidaysburg, PA 16648.
