Royer Returns Home

Royer Hartman of Royer, of whom we made mention last week as having gone to Philadelphia in company with his uncle, Dr. S. M. Royer, has returned to his home. While there in the German hospital he had an operation performed on his neck, for the removal of an abscess. The operation has proved an entire success, and he is getting along good.

Sam Biddle of East Sharpsburg had the nerve to have twenty one teeth extracted at one sitting without using anything to deaden the sense of feeling

President McKinley passed through Altoona on his way to Somerset on Saturday evening, and was greeted by a large crowd of people. President McKinley spent Sunday among the hills of Somerset.

Miss Wray, the teacher of Latin and Greek in the Hollidaysburg female seminary, was in Roaring Spring in the interest of the school.

The fellows who are returning home from the Klondyke these days do not need wagons to haul their gold dust.
