David Herman Long, 79, of Claysburg, passed away Aug. 17, 2023, at Conemaugh Nason Medical Center, Roaring Spring.

He was born Jan. 4, 1944, in Blue Knob; son of the late Robert and Adah (Hodgson) Long.

Dave was a tractor-trailer driver for more than 40 years, retiring in 2008 from Smith Transport. He enjoyed flea marketing, watching Steelers Games, and spending time with his family.
