The 2019 Morrisons Cove Dairy Show was recently held at Morrisons Cove Memorial Park, Martinsburg. The event kicked off with the 4-H and FFA showmanship contest. The show was judged by Nate Oleniacz. Allie Snider won the Bernard Bailey Memorial Master Showman award as the overall winner. Receiving plaques were (from left): Anna Longenecker, Savanna Hershberger, Eion Snider, Samantha Van Pelt, Allie Snider, Macy Walason, Mason Benfer, Blaire Gable and Grace Burket.
The 69th annual Morrisons Cove Dairy Show got underway Monday, July 29, at Morrisons Cove Memorial Park in Martinsburg with the 4-H and FFA showmanship contest.
Nate Oleniacz of New Oxford was responsible for judging the five classes: first year, beginner, junior, intermediate and senior.
At the end of the night, intermediate winner Allie Snider earned the show's top prize, the Bernard Bailey Memorial Master Showman Award. The award is named after Bailey, due to his strong influence on the Blair and Bedford County dairy programs.
