WISE Women of Blair County Announce Tribute Honorees

WISE Women of Blair County, through the Central Pennsylvania Community Foundation, is proud to announce their annual Tribute Honorees. These women are recognized for their community input and/or involvement in organizations whose projects advance the WISE Women mission to empower women and eliminate racism through collaboration, service and education techniques.

Please note due to the COVID pandemic, there was not a 2020 or 2021 tribute dinner.

This dinner will honor the 2020 chosen honorees. The outstanding 2020 honorees are:

ARTS & LETTERS – Marie Little, President, Hollidaysburg Area Arts Council

BUSINESS & PROFESSIONAL – Jennifer Burgmeier, Owner/Instructor, The Groove Fitness Studio.

COMMUNITY SERVICE VOLUNTEER – Donna L. Malone – Active Member ,GFWC Hollidaysburg Area Women’s Club

EDUCATION – Dorey Marsh, Child Development Specialist, UPMC/Home Nursing Agency

NON-PROFIT/GOVERNMENT – Judy Ward, Senator, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania

RISING STAR – Julia Cacciotti, Gold Award Girl Scout.

LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT – Rev. Evelyn Madison, Pastor, Wehnwood United Methodist Church

The 2022 Tribute Dinner will be held Wednesday, April 20, 2022, at The Casino in Lakemont, 6 p.m.
