Future Teachers Attend Conference

The Central High School Future Teachers' Club attended the "Teach the Future" Conference at Fred Rogers Center on the campus of St. Vincent College on Wednesday, Nov. 8.

The morning started off with a keynote address by the 2022 Pennsylvania Teacher of the Year Elizabeth Raff speaking on the idea of "set the stage to engage." Students then moved onto the first two breakout sessions covering a variety of education related topics. Students then had a boxed lunch together with more than 175 students from more than 20 school districts throughout the western part of the state. Students then attended their last breakout session of the day.

The Future Teachers' Club is advised by Mr. Joe Logan.
