    Cove Community Theater group has been working hard to make improvements and develop entertainment for the community. The theatre is located at 5768 Church View Road, Loysburg. Mary Ellen Laird, proprietor of the company, said the group has been selling beef sticks and Gardners’ Peanut Butter Meltaways for a fundraising project.     Southern Cove Power Reunion held their June meeting. The treasurer’s report, given by Amy Mellott, treasurer, showed $4,036 in Hometown Bank Museum Fund. The Hometown Bank checking account has a balance of $30,924. The payment for the concrete for the pavilion has not been paid as of this time. The May tractor pull 153 hook-ups.     Two longtime members of Martinsburg Mennonite Church have birthdays this month. The church honored these members with cards and balloons. This small but mighty church has been holding church services in the church parking lot for over a year via FM radio.
